[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Public Health Department’s Low Cost Rabies Clinic Postponed

Rabies clinic scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Norfolk Department of Public Health will be postponed until Saturday June 2, 2018 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

NORFOLK, VA – Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the low cost rabies clinic scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Norfolk Department of Public Health will be postponed until Saturday June 2, 2018 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The clinic will be held in the parking lot at the main Norfolk Health Center, 830 Southampton Avenue, at the intersection of Brambleton and Colley Avenues.  The cost is only $5.00 per animal, cash only and while supplies last.  All animals must be at least 12 weeks of age. Cats must be in carriers and dogs must be on leashes.  A previous rabies certificate is required for the 3-year vaccine.  For animals without a certificate, a 1-year vaccine will be administered.  

This year the City of Norfolk Commissioner of Revenue Office will be available to assist city residents in obtaining their Pet License for 2018.
