For customers whose waste collection day is scheduled for Wednesday and missed the Monday collection this week, please place your garbage can at the curb on Friday, July 6 after 5:00 p.m. Refuse collectors will attempt to collect them Saturday. Bulk waste collection requests will be scheduled for your normal collection day next Wednesday.
Requests for bulk waste collection on Thursday, July 5th must be made before 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3rd. Call the Norfolk Cares Center at (757) 664-6510 or fill out a request online at www.norfolk.gov and click on the Request Tracker.
Norfolk residents can drop off unwanted E-waste seven days a week/24 hours per day at the Division of Towing and Recovery located at 1188-A Lance Road.
