[ARCHIVED] Thursday and Friday waste collection will be as normally scheduled

For customers whose waste collection day is scheduled for Wednesday and missed the Monday collection this week, please place your garbage can at the curb on Friday, July 6 after 5:00 p.m.

Thursday and Friday waste collection will be as normally scheduled.  

For customers whose waste collection day is scheduled for Wednesday and missed the Monday collection this week, please place your garbage can at the curb on Friday, July 6 after 5:00 p.m. Refuse collectors will attempt to collect them Saturday. Bulk waste collection requests will be scheduled for your normal collection day next Wednesday.  

Norfolk residents can drop off unwanted E-waste seven days a week/24 hours per day at the Division of Towing and Recovery located at 1188-A Lance Road.  

Residents can also dispose of household trash and waste and bulk waste for free at the Norfolk SPSA transfer station located at 3136 Woodland Avenue. Residents can drop off waste at this facility every Saturday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
