The Slover Library and Cuisine at Slover café, located at 235 E. Plume Street in downtown Norfolk, will close July 9th and 10th for window replacements.
NORFOLK, VA – The Slover Library and Cuisine at Slover café, located at 235 E. Plume Street in downtown Norfolk, will close July 9th and 10th for window replacements. The 200 block of East Plume Street will close to accommodate the crane needed to replace the windows. During this time, the library is featuring Pop-Up libraries at multiple downtown locations.
During the closure, patrons can return items to any Norfolk Public Library location or at any Pop-Up Library. The Pop-up library will offer a full service experience in a pint-size space. Patrons can check out books, apply for a library card, sign up for the Summer Reading Program or ask the on-site librarian a question about any program or service.
Patrons who sign up for library cards at Pop-Up library locations will be entered into a random drawing for a prize package!
