[ARCHIVED] Get Your Neighborhood Green On With a Retain Your Rain Project

Grants up to $2,500 available for neighborhood projects

NORFOLK, VA – Norfolk is home to Retain Your Rain projects such as a food forest and an urban community garden. What green stormwater project is next?

Neighborhood groups and non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for a grant up to $2,500 to create their Retain Your Rain project and build up Norfolk’s green infrastructure.

Grant applications for fall project proposals are due September 2nd.

This is the third round of Retain Your Rain mini grants. The first mini grant was awarded to the Northside Civic League to install a food forest. The second mini grant was awarded to Eggleston Garden Center to install rain barrels at their urban farm.
