[ARCHIVED] Police identify the man killed on Bolton Street

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Police have identified the man shot and killed on Friday afternoon as 40-year-old Sanjuan Shy.

Shortly before 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 20th dispatchers received a call to the 1300 block of Bolton Street for an adult man possibly suffering from a gunshot wound. When officers arrived, they found Sanjuan Shy, of Chesapeake, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported Shy to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives have not released a motive or the circumstances surrounding this deadly shooting.
