[ARCHIVED] Police ID pedestrian involved in fatal hit-and-run crash on Military Highway

fatal hit and run imageNORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Police have identified the 31-year-old pedestrian who died in a crash Wednesday night on Military Highway as Joseph William Rodriguez

Rodriguez was hit by a vehicle in the 800 block of North Military Highway around 10:30 p.m. while attempting to cross the street. The vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are looking for a 2007-2012 black or dark colored Nissan Titan with a missing passenger side mirror. The Nissan is believed to be the suspect vehicle.
