[ARCHIVED] Man suffers life-threatening injuries in crash on Northampton Boulevard

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A man has life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Northampton Boulevard Sunday morning.

Around 10:15 a.m., police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash in the 6200 block of Northampton Boulevard near Premium Outlets Boulevard.

The preliminary information has revealed that a 66-year-old man was driving eastbound on Northampton Boulevard in a Cadillac XTS and rear-ended a Dodge Ram stopped at the traffic light.

The man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment. His injuries are considered life-threatening.

There were no other vehicles involved and no other injuries reported.
