[ARCHIVED] 85-year-old woman hit by car, vehicle flees scene

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) - An 85-year-old woman has been hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Friday night, and police are asking the public’s assistance catching the hit-and-run driver. 

On February 8, 2019 around 7 p.m., the woman was crossing the intersection of Wide and Henry Streets when she was struck by a silver or grey Nissan Altima. The vehicle then fled the scene.

The pedestrian was initially taken to hospital in stable condition; however, her condition has declined and she is currently listed in critical condition.
