[ARCHIVED] Man identified from Saturday night’s fatal shooting

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police have identified the man fatally shot on Ballentine Blvd. as 40-year-old Lorenzo Antwoine Roberts of Chesapeake.

On Saturday, March 9, 2019 shortly before 11:00 p.m. dispatchers received a call for shots heard in the 2600 block of Ballentine Blvd. When officers arrived, they found Roberts laying outside with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Detectives have not released a motive or the circumstances surrounding this deadly incident.
