[ARCHIVED] Bikeshare is Back Just in Time for Spring!

Pace bikes are rolling out on Friday, March 15th for quick commutes around the city.

NORFOLK, VA – Ready to ride? Pace bikes are rolling out on Friday, March 15th for quick commutes around the city. The public is invited to participate in a group ride from City Hall’s Civic Plaza at noon to celebrate the re-launch. Participants can register for the launch ride here.

During hibernation over the winter months, Norfolk’s fleet of Pace bikes were overhauled, and the program has been updated to include new features this year!  New pricing options will allow riders to  unlock the value of Pace bikes so it’s even easier to ride more.

Pace bikeshare is an integral part of the city’s transportation network. Last year, 11,904 members took over 45,952 trips on Pace bikes and rode for a total of 17, 295 hours to destinations throughout Norfolk.

Our fleet has grown to 200 bikes and 39 stations. We’re excited to have our six sponsors on board again this year, with the addition of Allstate Insurance who will be begin their sponsorship on April 1, 2019.
