[ARCHIVED] Police identify man fatally shot overnight on Military Highway

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police have identified the man fatally shot early Saturday morning on Military Highway as 34-year-old Michael M. McGregor of the 3500 block of Sewells Point Road. 

On March 30, 2019, around 12:50 a.m., dispatchers received a call for a gunshot disturbance behind the Mona Lisa Restaurant and Bar located in the 3500 block of N. Military Highway. When police arrived, they found McGregor behind the restaurant suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. McGregor was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives have not released any suspect information or the circumstances surrounding this deadly incident; however, they ask anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at Line 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3Tips mobile app.
