[ARCHIVED] Police identify man fatally shot on Colonial Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police have identified the man fatally shot last week as 20-year-old Tykeeyan Z. Robinson of Norfolk.

Around 7:37 p.m., April 16, 2019, dispatchers received a call for a gunshot victim in the 2800 block of Colonial Avenue. When first responders arrived, they found Robinson laying in the street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Detectives have not released suspect information or the circumstances surrounding this deadly incident; however, they ask anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at Line 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3Tips mobile app.
