NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives arrest a man after the Medical Examiner rules an undetermined death as a homicide.
This morning around 7:30, first responders were called to the 6500 block of N Military Highway for a cardiac arrest call. When medics arrived, they located 47-year-old Larry Matriski, of the 6500 block of N Military Highway, unresponsive inside the residence. Matriski was pronounced dead at the scene.
The autopsy conducted by the Medical Examiner determined Matriski died from blunt force trauma.
As a result, detectives charged his brother, 47-year-old Sean Matriski, of the 6500 block of N Military Highway, with second-degree murder.
Detectives have not released the motive or circumstances surrounding this homicide.
Matriski is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
