[ARCHIVED] Man dies following overnight shooting on Edward Street

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) Norfolk police are continuing to investigate a shooting that has left a 30-year-old man dead.

Around 2:10 a.m. police were dispatched to the 6200 block of Edward Street for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they located Darius D. Clark, 30, of Norfolk, suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Clark was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Detectives have not released a motive or suspect information surrounding this incident.
