[ARCHIVED] Man dies following shooting on E. Princess Anne Road

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police are investigating an overnight shooting that has left a man dead.

Shortly after 11:15 p.m., dispatch notified Officers that a man had arrived at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Police responded to the hospital and learned that the man had been shot in the parking lot of the Wawa located at 3360 E. Princess Anne Road.

The man, Tabari C. Anthony, 21, of Norfolk, later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.

Detectives have not released any other details surrounding this investigation.
