[ARCHIVED] Teenager dies following shooting on Nicholson Street

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police are continuing to investigate a Wednesday afternoon shooting that has left a 17-year-old dead.

Shortly after 1:00 p.m., on September 23, 2020 dispatchers received a call for a gunshot victim in the 500 block of Nicholson Street. When police arrived, they located a 17-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

The teenager was taken to the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment where he later died as a result of his injuries.
