[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police ask for help determined cause of fatal crash on E. Princess Anne Road

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Three people have died after the car they were in crashed into a tree overnight on E. Princess Anne Road.

On October 23, 2020 around 10:15 p.m. police were dispatched to the 5300 block of E. Princess Anne Road for the report of an overturned vehicle crash. When officers arrived, they located a BMW that had ran off the road and hit a tree. 

Three of the four people from the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. A 48-year-old woman was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detectives say she is expected to recover. 

Investigators know Denis F. Snead, 49, of Norfolk, was driving the vehicle westbound on E. Princess Anne Road when the crash happened. The two passengers who were also killed during the crash are 40-year-old Joshua P. Delp, and 36-year-old Christiane M. Rivera, both of Norfolk.  

Detectives are now working to determine what led up to the crash, and are asking anyone with information about this incident to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3Tips mobile app.
