[ARCHIVED] Homicide investigation underway on Little Bay Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are investigating a man’s death as a homicide after his body was found inside an apartment off Little Bay Avenue Thursday afternoon. 

On November 5, 2020 shortly after 12:30 p.m., Norfolk police and Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to the 1000 block of Little Bay Avenue to check on the well-being of a man. When first responders arrived, they found a man unresponsive inside of the apartment. Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.  

His identity will be released once his family has been notified. 

Detectives have not released the circumstances surrounding this incident.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has classified this incident as a homicide. Police encourage anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3 mobile app.
