[ARCHIVED] Suspect arrested following a fatal stabbing on N. Military Highway

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives have charged the man responsible for a stabbing Wednesday night on N. Military Highway. 

On January 13, 2021 around 9:20 p.m., police responded to 515 N. Military Highway to conduct a check on the well-being and found a man who was unresponsive. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The victim's identity will be released once his family has been notified.

As a result of their investigation, Joseph J. Giles, 64, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
