[ARCHIVED] 70-year-old man seriously injured following hit-and-run crash; detectives seeking information

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A 70-year-old man is in the hospital with serious injuries following a vehicle crash and detectives need the public’s help catching the hit-and-run driver. 

On Saturday, January 23, 2021, around 2:00 p.m., a man was attempting to cross the street in the 7500 block of Tidewater Drive when he was struck by a silver or grey sport utility vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene before police arrived. 

The man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries where he remains in critical but stable condition.
