[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police identify man killed on E. Little Creek Road

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing with their investigation after a man was found dead behind a building early Friday morning.

On February 5, 2021 around 2:40 a.m. police were dispatched to the 7500 block of Tidewater Drive for the report of an unresponsive man. When police arrived, they located 34-year-old Raymond A. Swift in the 700 block of E. Little Creek Road suffering from a gunshot wound. Swift was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

As Detectives continue to investigate this homicide, they encourage anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3Tips mobile app.

Detectives have not released the motive or circumstances surrounding this deadly incident.
