NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate a homicide on Tidewater Drive.
Around 9:40 p.m. on July 16, 2021, police responded to the parking lot of the 7-Eleven store located at 7431 Tidewater Drive for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they located 38-year-old Norman E. James, suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. James was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives have not released a motive or suspect information surrounding this incident.
