NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate the early morning hit-and-run accident that has left a 63-year-old man dead.
Around 4:15 this morning, police responded to the 3400 block of Chesapeake Boulevard for the report of a person who had been hit by a car. The preliminary investigation has revealed that the man was hit by a dark colored sedan. The car fled the scene before police arrived.
The man, identified as Roland K. Henshaw, 63, of Virginia Beach, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died as a result of the injuries.
