NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Police are investigating a homicide after a 25-year-old woman died at the hospital following a shooting that occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 1:10 p.m., dispatchers received a call for a gunshot victim in the 700 block of Rockingham Road. When first responders arrived, they found Rikeria D. Bibbins suffering from a gunshot wound.
Bibbins was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where she died from his injuries.
