[ARCHIVED] Select Parking Garages Open Ahead of Monday Afternoon High Tide

Several parking garages are open to give residents a place to move their vehicles ahead of the Monday afternoon high tide.  This tide is expected to fall in the moderate stage according to the National Weather Service and be the highest of the past few days.  


The following garages are open:
  • York Street Garage, 215 West York Street
  • Bank Street Garage, 441 Bank Street
  • Charlotte Street Garage, 253 E Charlotte Street 
Residents should not park in reserved spaces. Vehicles must be removed by 7:00 p.m. Monday evening. 

All Old Dominion Parking garages are open for residents to move their vehicles to higher ground.  Vehicles without an ODU parking permit must be removed by 8:00 a.m. Wednesday.  

City crews have been on standby throughout the weekend to respond to flooded streets and clear debris.
