[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police investigating undetermined death

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate the undetermined death of a 51-year-old woman.

On October 16, 2021, around 4:50 a.m. Officers responded to the 700 block of E. Little Creek Road for the report of a person in the roadway. When police arrived, they located an unresponsive woman. The woman, identified as Angela R. Joyner, of Chesapeake, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. She later died as a result of those injuries. 

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the official manner and cause of death. 

Detectives are asking for anyone who may have information or been in the area around this time to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip using the P3Tips mobile app.
