NORFOLK – Hampton Roads Transit will not collect fares on its bus, light rail, ferry, and paratransit services on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 2, as a public service to the citizens of the region.
The free-fare service will run from the start of the transit day until the end. The fares are being waived to give riders every opportunity to get to the polls and vote.
