NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police are continuing to investigate a triple shooting on Granby Street that left one man dead, and two others injured.
On October 26, 2021, just before 7:00 p.m. police responded to 2707 Granby Street for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man, later identified as Abdul Shaahid Azaudin Muhammhad, 48, of Norfolk, was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
Dispatch was notified a short time later that two men both suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds had arrived at the hospital by car. Detectives determined these two incidents were related.
