NORFOLK, VA – If you want to honor a veteran’s service and sacrifice, take an hour and spend it with a veteran or two.
On November 11, honor the service and sacrifice of our military veterans from World War II to the War on Terrorism. The ceremony begins at 2:00 p.m. at the MacArthur Visitors Center then take a short walk to the memorial rotunda for a brief wreath-laying ceremony.
Mayor Kenneth Cooper Alexander will provide remarks. Featured speaker is U.S. Congresswoman Elaine Luria, 2nd District of Virginia. The ceremony is free and open to the public.
