[ARCHIVED] Give an Animal a Home for The Holidays

NORFOLK, VA – The Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center (NACC) is making a list of current adoptable animals and checking it twice in hopes to clear every name off during our Home for the Holidays Adoption Promotion!

Thanks to our Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center, all animals are $50 starting this Saturday, November 20, through January 1. What’s a better gift than the companionship from a new furry friend? It’ll be sure to make your season bright! And if two adult cats are “Best Buds” and would rather stick together, they’ll both come as a package deal for $50.

Head over to www.norfolk.gov/nacc or walk in to make an appointment to visit the animals in our shelter. NACC is open Saturdays and Sundays (noon – 4:30 p.m.) as well as Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays (2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.) by appointment only.

Looking for a stocking stuffer? NACC now has its very own Pet Tag Machine that prints out a customized pet tag of your choice for only $8. Deck your pet’s collar out with a brand-new tag to help them find their way home if they ever get lost.

If you’re unable to adopt this holiday season, there are still many ways to give! We are always looking for fosters to temporarily house animals and volunteers to help at our shelter. Learn more about fostering and volunteering on our website.
