NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate an early morning homicide on Chambers Street.
On December 13, 2021, around 1:20 a.m. Norfolk police responded to the Days Inn located at 5701 Chambers Street for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man, later identified as Tremont M. Webb, 23, of Norfolk, was transported to Sentara Leigh Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
Detectives have not released any additional details surrounding this incident.
