NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Police need the public’s help locating a suspect who robbed a Bank of America Friday afternoon in Norfolk.
Torie Derron Benns aka Torio, 42, of the 5100 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd, has an active robbery warrant in connection to the bank robbery that occurred on January 14th, at the Bank of America located at 1916 Colonial Avenue.
Around 1:20 p.m., detectives say Benns entered the bank and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied, and Benns fled the scene.
There were no injuries reported.
