NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate an accident that has left a 54-year-old man dead.
On January 20, 2022, around 9:30 a.m., police responded to the 500 block of Virginian Drive for the report of an accident with injuries. The preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the car lost control and hit a parked vehicle.
The driver, identified as Joseph A. Brunson Jr., 54, of Virginia Beach, was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
This crash investigation is being handled by the Norfolk Police Departments Traffic Fatality Unit.
