[ARCHIVED] Virginia State Police investigate Officer Involved Shooting on Granby Street

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) –   The Virginia State Police are currently investigating a shooting involving two Norfolk Police officers. 

On Friday, February 12th, around 10:30 p.m., Norfolk Police responded to a report of a person with a weapon in the 100 block of Granby Street. When officers arrived, they encountered a man armed with a handgun. The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A firearm was recovered at the scene. No officers were injured.

This is still an active investigation, and we have no other details at this time.
