NORFOLK, VA – The City of Norfolk seeks to understand the decisions residents make about housing and their experiences living, working and learning in Norfolk.
The Community Fair Housing Needs Assessment survey will help Norfolk take meaningful action to promote and support fair housing choice, address community needs and priorities, overcome segregation and foster inclusive communities that are free from discrimination. The survey closes March 16 and can be completed anonymously.
Survey findings will be included in Norfolk’s 2021 Analysis of Impediments (AI) report. Since Norfolk receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the forthcoming AI report meets Fair Housing Act requirements for HUD funding recipients to further the purposes and policies of the Fair Housing Act.
