[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police charge student following Tuesday’s incident at Granby High School

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Officers responded to Granby High School around 10:00 a.m. on March 15, 2022, for the report of a person with a weapon. It was reported that a student had possibly entered the school with a gun following an incident that occurred off campus.

During the investigation, several students were detained by Investigators.

One of the students, a 15-year-old male, was charged with brandishing a firearm. The teenager is currently being held in the Norfolk Detention Center.

No injuries were reported.
