[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police arrest suspect following shooting on Garfield Drive

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have arrested and charged the man responsible for a shooting Friday evening that left two men injured.

On March 25, 2022, around 11:15 p.m., Officers responded for the report of two gunshot victims in the 1600 block of Garfield Avenue. When police arrived, they found a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

As a result of their investigation, Investigators have charged Sean P. Knight, 34, of Norfolk, with two counts of malicious wounding and two counts of use of a firearm. 

Knight is currently in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.

Detectives have not released a motive, or any additional circumstances surrounding this incident.
