NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) - Detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting that left a man dead.
On April 23, 2023, around 9:20 p.m., police were dispatched to the 900 block of Bagnall Road for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found Vernon L. Scott III, 21, of Norfolk, suffering from a gunshot wound. Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.
