[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police looking for wanted homicide suspect following shooting on E. Virginia Beach Blvd.

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are asking for the public’s help to locate the man wanted in connection with the shooting that left one man dead.

On April 8, 2023, around 3:35 p.m., Officers were in the area of the E. Virginia Beach Boulevard when they heard gunshots. The Officers responded to 711 E. Virginia Beach Boulevard, where they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. 

The man, later identified as Antonio Wilson, 18, was taken to the hospital for treatment where he died from his injuries. 

As a result of the investigation, Cevan O. Pierce, 23, of Norfolk, has been charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm. 

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $2,500.00 for information leading to the arrest of Pierce.

Anyone with information about Pierce’s whereabouts is encouraged to submit a tip by calling the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or by using the P3Tips mobile app.
