NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have arrested and charged a 25-year-old woman following a shooting on E Little Creek Road that left another woman dead.
Around 2:25 a.m. on March 16th, police were dispatched to the 1700 block of E Little Creek Road for the report of a gunshot victim. When Officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The woman’s identity will be released once her next-of-kin has been notified.
As a result of their investigation, Detectives have charged Nildaliz A. Flores-Roman with second-degree murder, and use of a firearm.
Flores-Roman was taken into custody at the scene and is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
