NORFOLK, Va.— Slover Library Foundation is proud to announce an exclusive event featuring Dr. Larry J. Sabato, one of the nation’s foremost political analysts, on October 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Room 650 of The Slover. The evening will include a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres, providing guests with the opportunity to network and engage with the community. Dr. Larry Sabato, a New York Times best-selling author and Emmy Award-winning political analyst, will discuss his latest book, "The Red Ripple: The 2022 Midterm Elections and What They Mean for 2024," which examines the outcomes of the 2022 midterm elections and their impact on the upcoming 2024 presidential race. Dr. Sabato’s extensive background includes founding and directing the University of Virginia's Center for Politics and leading Sabato’s Crystal Ball, an award-winning political forecasting website.
Widely recognized for his ability to offer deep and compelling analysis of American politics, Dr. Sabato has been a Rhodes Scholar, received visiting appointments at both Oxford and Cambridge universities, and has taught over 20,000 students during his celebrated career.
