[ARCHIVED] Man arrested in connection with ongoing sexual assault investigation

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have arrested a man in connection with an ongoing sexual assault investigation. 

Police were called to the Double Tree located at 1500 N Military Highway on July 18th, around 3:30 a.m., for the report of a sexual assault.

Following the initial investigation, Phillip J. Graham, 27, of North Carolina, was charged with: two counts of forcible sodomy, robbery, abduction, and one count of brandishing, simple assault, and six counts of use of a firearm.

Graham was taken into custody by Norfolk Police on July 22nd

He is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.

Graham is also facing similar charges for an incident in the City of Virginia Beach.   

This remains an active investigation as detectives say there could be additional victims.
