Norfolk Criminal Justice Services (NCJS)
is a City of Norfolk community-based corrections agency.  NCJS is established under the authority of the Comprehensive Community Corrections Act (CCCA) specified in §§9.1-173 through 9.1-183 of the Virginia state code (sc), and the Pretrial Services Act (PSA) §§19.2-152.2 through 19.2-152.7 sc.  The agency consists of two divisions that provide pre and post-trial community supervision. Pretrial Services and Adult Community Supervision (local probation) represent each division, respectively.
