Norfolk is home to unique attractions and hosts year-round festivals and special events along the waterfront. In order to accommodate convenient entry and exit from parking facilities at special events, the Parking Division operates collect-on-entry payment.
Special Events Parking Rates
- $5.00-$20.00 per vehicle at all Norfolk-owned parking facilities (garages and lots)
- $5.00 per vehicle at MacArthur Center North and South Garages
These rates are in effect for such events as:
**Attention Scope Garage Special Event Patrons: Please arrive at least an hour early as the garage fills quickly before large events. Disabled access parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. When full, cars will be directed to the Bank Street Garage to park after dropping off disabled passengers at Scope or Chrysler Hall. Also, please be advised that the left turn hand lane into Scope Garage from St. Paul’s Boulevard is blocked off a couple hours before a large event at Scope or Chrysler Hall.
