As construction of the new Maury High School begins, updates regarding road closures, detours, infrastructure improvements and other updates will be posted here.

Crews are aware of the impact of a large construction project in the heart of a busy business and residential area. Please be extra cautious when driving, biking and walking near the work sites.

For local traffic utilizing southbound Llewellyn Ave. between 21st St. and Princess Anne Rd., the detour route:

  • From 20 Street, motorists, pedestrians and bike lane users:
    • Turn right or left and proceed to Colley Ave. or Granby St. respectively to arrive at Shirley Ave.
