Like volunteers, interns work side-by-side with city employees to strengthen customer service and programs to enhance the library’s relationship with the local community while earning college credit. There are many opportunities to suit different interests and skills within NPL.
Who can intern?
Norfolk Public Library has unpaid internship opportunities available for currently enrolled high school, college or university students in good academic standing looking to satisfy course credit requirements and earn an edge in a competitive workforce by gaining useful work experience.
