Crisis Intervention Team (CIT)
In Norfolk, CIT is a collaborative effort between the Police Department and Community Services Board to provide appropriate and timely response to individuals experiencing a psychiatric emergency.

Crisis Care Center
For individuals who are in an acute crisis situation and who are at risk of hospitalization or incarceration due to their mental health or co-occurring disorder.

Emergency Services
Performs pre-admission screening evaluations; provides short-term crisis counseling services; and provides referrals and linkage on an emergency basis for individuals in the City of Norfolk.
