Calling for Medical Assistance

Our Telecommunicators are trained and certified Emergency Medical Dispatchers and CPR. In order to better help us to help you in your time of need for medical assistance, we are required to ask a few medical questions. Most answers are simple yes or no. More often than not, the medics are already on their way while the additional questions are being asked.

Pre-Arrival Instructions

All medical calls require pre-arrival instructions. Certain medical conditions require advanced medical instructions which we are prepared to provide, such as CPR or getting you through childbirth.

Remember to:

  • Have a list of your medications, including supplements ready for the medics.
  • Have your porch light on if it is dark outside.
  • Put any pets away.
  • Unlock the door, if possible.
  • Have someone meet the medics, if possible.
