Presenter: Gary Williams, Jr.
Mr. Williams is the Team Leader for Life’s Journey’s Assertive Community Treatment Program and has over 15 years of experience providing supportive services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. He has a wide range of expertise and has provided services in a number of settings to include outpatient substance abuse, independent living, group homes, prison addiction treatment, community housing support, nonprofit, and outpatient mental health treatment. Mr. Williams is a Qualified Mental Health Professional and A Certified Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee and holds a B.A. in Human Services. He has both had experience providing services via telehealth and video mediums pre-pandemic and during the pandemic.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. This new benefit will connect eligible households to jobs, critical healthcare services, virtual classrooms, and so much more.
